I was charged with a felony sex crime. Due to a number of reasons, I didn't want to go to trial, and Mr. Will respected that. Mr. Will went to court for me more times than I can count, did some additional investigation and ultimately told me that I could plead guilty to a lesser offense and get probation and house arrest.

Domestic Violence Cases In Washington

Once a phone call to 911 is placed, and a domestic violence allegation is made in Washington State, someone is going to jail. The police will arrive, separate the people involved and make a snap judgment as to who the “initial/primary aggressor” is or sometimes, who the “greater aggressor” is and then take you away. You will be in jail at least overnight before you can see a judge. Then, once you are out of custody, in almost every case, a no contact order is put in place. If you live with the alleged victim, and especially if you have a family with the alleged victim, this can turn everything upside down for you. And this is not a short process. You can expect that no contact order to remain in place, at least through the outcome of your case.  This is why you need a skilled and knowledgeable attorney that handles these cases by your side.

Will & Will understands how stressful a domestic violence charge can be and we are here to help. We fight domestic violence cases on a daily basis and have proven strategies to successfully defend against them, and get you the best possible resolution.
